the nPad is basically a re-badged Hanvon B10 tablet, so all the drivers will work, at the moment there isnt any button drivers, Hanvon should be releasing the button software and G-sensor software in a weeks time
can anyone tell me how to change the functionality of the shortcut buttons on the left side of hanvon b10.. there are 3 of them.. I got win 7 ultimate installed.. if you can help then please email to web@vladmedvedev.com Thanks!
You need to install the button and sensor software first, Also have the latest bios version 1.8 installed, After this is done run the tp button software and choose the option you want...
Regarding the 'original disk ISO' (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PR9Q2OB0) file download listed above in this topic- will it work to change my B10 Chinese language-to- English language or is it literally just software and drivers and no OS on it. What is the best way to get the B10 to Win 7 English ( I have a win 7 CD but don't have all the drivers to download). Thanks
Use Windows update and click on optional downloads and click on English, let it install and you should have english on the system, the Windows cd you have is that english or chinese, i'd do a clean install if english and keep the recovery partition intact...
Have always come across your site when searching for my hanvon stuff..
im wanting to try windows 8 on my B10...though i need to wipe the original partitions and can't seem to locate drivers when going to reinstall windows!
Your megaupload link is down now but i wondered if you might be able to share the original cd elsewhere for me? I never received a CD when I purchased my hanvon from store! :(
hi jana check this link so that you can install some of the original driver and software of your tablet, but you need to install google translate to read chinese character on their website http://www.hanwang.com.cn/server/download/download_list_8.htm
so after much blood sweat and tears - windows 8 works but there seems to be a memory leak issue and the tablet just locks up for about 10 minutes and then returns to normal for anohter few minutes.
just reimaged it back to windows 7 and now trying to get the damn wireless drivers!
interesting information. the two sites listed above do not work (or are down). got hanvon bc10c. looks like there is a system recovery partition. how do i access it or can i download a win7hp32bit iso for this machine thanks for your attentions. lyn
I'm having problems accessing the hanvon system restore/backup. It says that either the program is not installed or is damaged. I think there's a code in the MBR that it's looking for. See, I installed Linux Ubuntu 12 via dual booting. Linux installed GRUB on the MBR. Now I removed Linux and Grub but the backup program now doesn't work. Help please. Is there anyone who can provide me with a copy of their MBR? Cheers.
A lot of people seem to come through here looking for the drivers for this machine, or an ISO of the driver disk, because Hanvon support for this machine is almost totally non-existent now! Drivers or the drivers disk can not be obtained from Hanvon, or anywhere else it would appear. It is also obvious DJACID has abandoned this blog quite some considerable time ago, so he's not going to re-post these things any time soon, if at all! So it requires for one of you who does have the drivers or the drivers disk to kindly post them up somewhere like mega or mediafire or depositfiles or bitshare or somewhere similar. People really need this, and one of you reading this must surely be in a position to help out. So do it! Do it now!!!
I must make mention at NO stage will you enter your product key. Skip all (2 or 3?) prompts. Never, or ever again (with Windows 10) will you need your serial (there isn't one, hardware tied). But make sure "Windows is activated" prior to a CLEAN INSTALL from boot disc/usb.
Hello BUCKAROO, while I would like to thank you for your reply, I really can't! Not trying to be rude here, but surely you must realize that your reply is not only incomplete but also almost entirely incomprehensible!
Rather than helping, your reply has only served to derail my previous request above. While I would encourage you to reply again but *completely*, I think you will still be on the wrong track as it seems you may be talking about restoring or repairing from the hidden partition. Please don't assume that the hidden partiton is intact, uncorrupted, or even accessible in my case. I have correctly requested the original disk (Hanvon drivers and software) which was posted by DJAcid at the very top of this topic, and now I request it again.
BUCKAROO said: "the drivers are out there."
Oh really! Where? I've been looking and still haven't found anything. If the Hanvon drivers are out there I'm not finding them, just a tonne of dead links! Please be so kind as to help us all out and post currently working links for all the Hanvon Touchpad Windows 7 drivers, especially WiFi, Audio, VGA, Chipset, etc. Oh, and any of the Hanvon software too, if you would be so kind. Thanks!
BTW I don't know why you have mentioned Windows 10, it has absolutely nothing to do with this topic and I'm not interested in it at all!
Thank you very much for your efforts to respond to my request for the Windows 7 drivers. Were you aware the zip file you uploaded contains malware as detailed above? I am not sure what the rest of the stuff you put in that zip file is meant to be for (Windows 10?), you probably should have said what it all is for. I don't own a Hanvon Touchpad but a friend does and many of the drivers on it appear to be nuked. I am hopeful the Windows 7 drivers you provided will be of help. Thank you for those.
"malware as detailed above?" Don't tell me your post above was (sic) disappeared? Need not inf for Win10 thinkaboutit.
zippyshare and/or ads might harbour malware. I just downloaded the zip to see it has the same hash as what I uploaded. CRC32: 24CE20BA SHA1: 4C5DE934EC66EA1119B6F22C9BECC60B299E058F
The rars in official folder are what was fetched from Hanvon servers directly, and indirectly via the Wayback Machine.
In the unofficial folder is the Win8+ gfx+opengl from Daniel_K. In the BUCKAROO folder is a script made for my friend.
Regard Win10, I wanted only to bring the TouchPad into 2016 for my friend who I gave the Pad to; glad to be rid of it!
